These unique “Halo” style tail lights are definitely a much needed upgrade for your C5 to help bring it into the current times. With 32 LED’s in each tail light, these lights illuminate much faster and brighter than the stock tail lights.
For the Original version: The entire light is lit when the running lights are turned on, and the middle portion gets brighter when the brakes/turn signals are applied.
For the Halo-Runner version (add $70): Only the “halo” portion of the light is lit when lights are turned on, then the middle portion lights up when the brakes/turn signals are applied. If lights are not turned on, then only the middle portion will light up when the brakes/turn signals are applied. (Your lights must be turned on for the “halo” portion to be lit).
You can install these fully assembled plug & play lights in minimal time! Each light only requires removal of 2 screws so installation is a piece of cake!
Manufacturer’s defects are covered for 90 days on Original sets. Buyer pays for shipping defective unit(s) back. Warranty starts when lights are delivered to original purchaser. Warranty will be voided if taillight housings are opened by the customer or any other modifications to the lights (tinting, vinyl covers, etc.).
Because these are modified by a third-party from the way the manufacturer intended the lights to be used, there is a 6 month repair/replace warranty. Buyer pays for shipping defective unit(s) back. Attempts will be made to repair the light(s), only if repair is not possible will a replacement be sent. Warranty starts when lights are delivered to original purchaser.
