Another great solution to the stock C6 tail lights has arrived!
STOCK SUCKS: No doubt the four oval tails on the Vette is a badass classic design – but if you’ve already upped the ante by making more power, new wheels, and fatter tires, then it’s time to ditch the stock lighting setup too. Morimoto’s unbeatable XB LED fog lights have been top sellers in our catalog forever, and we couldn’t be more excited to see the lineup expand with offerings such as the new high-performance XB LED tail lights too!
PLUG N PLAY: Wiring is easy too! The XB LED tails are designed to work without any special wiring. They will plug into the factory connectors for the stock lights and each assembly includes all necessary connectors, rubber seals, and pigtails for a plug n play install. While these are designed for and tested on US-spec cars, they can be made to be compatible with most other specs also. No additional resistors, modules, etc needed!
STYLE: You are one T15 torx screw (per light) away from an updated rear end! While their styling is far more modern than the old incandescent tail lights – they’re not going to awkwardly turn your Vette into a spaceship either! We love the way they look and think they’d be a welcome upgrade to the rear end of any C6 Corvette.
WELL-BUILT: Their durable polycarbonate lens will resist the test of time, keeping the housings looking new for many years to come. The injection molded ABS housing is light-weight and much stronger than comparable cheap alternatives.
FINISHES:
Unpainted options – These are unmodified units from the manufacturer with bright lenses, DOT compliance, and visible center reflectors.
Light and Dark Smoke (center) painted options – These are professionally painted, wet sanded, and UV cleared. No cheap, peeling vinyl or acrylic covers here! Being modified from factory finish, these may not be DOT compliant. These painted sets offer a professional, permanent finish that will last the test of time, with a bit of extra shine in their clear coat. Painted sets can experience a 1-3 week delay before shipping.
Unpainted w/ Vinyl overlay options – These are unpainted units with separate vinyl overlay decals included to be installed on the center panel of the lens to help lessen the appearance of the center DOT-required reflector. Installing these decals may make the units non-DOT compliant. These do not come pre-installed on the lights and will not be a permanent finish if ever desired to remove later.
